Diary page 1 You farm from Samoor's Wrath in Puretia. Apurian Guards and Servants have dropped it for me. Now i can confirm a drop front of Paeon Farm from Apurian Grave Robber too.
The area where it drops seems to run from Paeon Farm to Samoor's Wrath. Theme seems to be any Apurian Ratman. Ratman Bosses in the area also.
Diary page 2 You buy from Travelling Moon Merchants.
Once you get all 3 pieces of the diary, right click them and it makes Dog Star's damaged diary.
After this 3 yellow spots appear on your map.
One is in Ornost,Arteicia
Second one is in Korhala, Yermizaar Sands.
Third one is in Alentia,Southwest of Dragonheart Temple.
The treasure is in one of these spots. Just go and dig it up.

Possibility to get Gorgeous Diamond for the Laedis Golden Set
Also some random green/blue loot
